Luc Hardy is a French-American adventurer living in both France and the United States. He participates in far away expeditions with passion. His curiosity for the world and his love of adventure stems from his origins in Brittany. Today, Luc Hardy’s rigorous and decisive photography, taken in places he is just passing through, affirms his passion.When he is not relaxing in his Connecticut tipi, he pursues a personal goal of traveling extensively worldwide, photographing and reporting from remote places in order to raise awareness for global causes. A member of the Explorers Club of New York, Luc Hardy has led several Arctic expeditions and is the author of Aventure Antarctique – Voyage au bout du rêve (France Loisirs - 2005), Greenland – Impressions (2007) et Arctic – Transitions (2008) Profits from the sale of this photograph will benefit the environmental organizations Pax Arctica and Green Cross International, the NGO founded by Mikhail Gorbachev.
