Biography
Matthieu Casimiri is a young photographer, an engineer
by profession. During long business trips to Asia, he took his first
series called "Asian Urban Depression" which was exhibited at the
Lucernaire Gallery in June/July 2008. His photographic approach is
based on man and in particular, on his interaction with his
surroundings, whether urban, industrial or everyday life. Matthieu is
currently working on other series, notably about Calcutta in a
traditional format.
