Pierre-André Boussac’s photographic debut coincided with the Liberation. Paris eternally inspired him. He explored the capital with his Contax camera then took his Leicas to take photographs which were always in black and white. Pierre-André Boussac was a prolific photographer. His work developed over more than half a century. The photographs from the Sixties are reminiscent of the Paris depicted by humanist photographers like Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson, as well as Willy Ronis.
