Biography
After his studies at the National School of Photography of Arles, Daniel Challe began in 1993 his photographic work with the Journal de Campagne realized in Matheysine in the Grenoble region. This series initiated a cycle linked to the intimate territories of the photographer, at the spaces of life and in the search of the close and of the everyday. They make up the object of a case of 3 picture books and of a text booklet published by Filigranes.
Works
His works were recently exposed at the Biannual of Contemporary Art of Lyon, at the PhotoEspaña - Gallery Rina Bouwen, Madrid, at the International Meetings of Photography at Arles (From one minute to the next) and at the Casa de Velasquez, Madrid. His photographs have integrated the greatest collections of photographs : National Fund of Contemporary Art (Paris), the FRAC Rhône-Alpes, the European House of Photography. Daniel Challe has also been a member for photography of the artistic section of the Casa de Velasquez, Madrid (1999-2001). …
